Intermittent stopping

The transport can spontaneouly stop in the middle of the session and reset counter to 0

The cause is the aging of cassette presence and record protection sensors. To fix, spray some Deoxit under the sensor levers, then excersize them up and down.

To test whether the fix worked, hold the levers up with a finger, press play and gently wiggle the levers side to side. If the transport stops, then DeoxIt did not reach the switch contacts and you may need to repeat the application.
